Some thoughts on Rachel....
I would normally never get involved in drama and start a post on another mommy, but I really feel compelled here to add something further. Please forgive the new thread on this...
Rachel is one of the few people on this site that has openly admitted and embraced her own difficulties becoming a mother. She has shared her thoughts and fears with all of us in the hopes of helping another mommy though a similar experience. She from time to time goes back and bumps old threads on post partum with helpful links in the hopes of helping yet more new mommies.
She is one of the first people to offer advice or just hugs.
She is the one to organize a new-mommy-help network of ladies willing to lend a hand to new mothers that are overwhelmed.
I'm really disturbed that someone took the time and energy to post negative things about her joy in her daughters accomplishments. Then, as if that wasn't enough, they had the nerve to FM her further toxic words.
I know I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but Rachel is one of the reasons I continue to be a part of this site. Her support and encouragement go beyond what she probably even knows she's accomplished for so many of us on here.
Just wanted to publicly say: Thank you Rachel for all your kind words and PLEASE continue to share ALL of Ava's accomplishments with us. We love seeing them and her!!!

I couldn't agree more. It's truly sad and disheartening. I don't mean to be vindictive or cruel, but when you get down to the heart of this, I'm really concerned about the mental health of the mother(s) who could be su jaded, cruel and mean-spirited.
I hope she takes this post as a reflection on how clearly "off" she is, and seeks help.

Honestly, I think what you had to say deserved its own thread. I know personally her PP thread prompted at least 2 moms to pick up the phone to ask for help.

I agree. She doesn't know me from a hole in the wall and answered countless FMs and posts from me when Andy was first diagnosed with milk protein allergy. From what I've seen she's been nothing but nice to everyone.

While i'm not a parent yet, I do enjoying reading Rachel's posts. Be it about Ava or just her thoughts on whatever. I can't imagine someone could have such low self esteem that they need to take her down with them. awful.
