So when did you break down............
.................and buy maternity jeans??? I am 12 weeks and although my jeans still technically fit I would not say they are overly comfortable. My regular work pants still fit great but the jeans are snug. So when did you guys get your first pair of maternity jeans???

I believe I started buying them at 12 weeks but started wearing them at about 15-16 weeks.

maternity jeans is the only thing i haven't bought yet. My old (fat jeans) are just starting to feel snug now (23 weeks).

I just ordered some maternity jeans (at 11 weeks), but I probably won't have to wear them for another few weeks. My fat jeans are still fitting OK, but getting a little snug.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of cargo pants this weekend along with a few tops that aren't maternity, but should see me through the 2nd trimester. I'm only 10w 4d, but I was on Long Island and went to the outlets!  I don't need them yet, but will before I get back there again.

i bought one pair at about 8-9 weeks, but i got the ones with the small band designed to go under the belly, so they fit great (motherhood maternity). my regular jeans haven't fit since week 4

I didn't intend to buy them at 11 weeks, but they were on sale for less than $20, so I figured why not?
They are big on me, but I still wear them because they are so comfy. I hated my regular jeans cutting into my stomach (they weren't big on me to begin with). I'm a much happier person now.

I got my first pair at around 10 weeks or so. I was so bloated in the beginning that I was bursting out of my other ones.

rather early on... maybe 9 weeks?
my regular jeans still fit, but they are by no means comfy. by the late afternoon, they pinch my waist. I've noticed that my tolerance for any minor abdominal pinching these days is basically nonexistent....
so even though preggo jeans are still a bit too big on me, I've been wearing them since week 10. It feels sooo good to not feel any pressure at all on my abdomen. I also personally never want to wear a bella band and walk around with unbuttoned pants...

About 9 weeks. They are still big on me so I use a Bella Band to hold them up like a belt.

Last time around i think i was like 18 weeks. this time around i will wear the same ones. I hate maternity jeans. I want some cute ones this time around so migh tjust go to the gap.

why are regular jeans built like they are anyway? the preggo jeans are sooooo much more comfy
when I put on the first pair, I knew the secret was out! I told DH I want to wear these forever
I should add, you shouldn't feel like you are 'breaking down' and buying maternity pants. you're preggo, and should be comfy

Thanks for the replies!! I think I may go this weekend and get a pair or two from Motherhood. Even if they are a little big that is fine........I am ALL about the comfort!!! I feel better too knowing that some people got them this early. Now I can wear them and know I'm not jumping the gun and being a crazy lady!!
