We have Internet and phone service and love it! We've had DishNetwork for TV for many years, and as of right now, have no reason to switch. I'll keep evaluating both options, though.

I had a couple of bumps initially - the dvr they gave me was faulty. But they replaced it and all has been PERFECT! i have no intention of EVER going back to cable for TV and Internet.

The phone bill ****** me off. I was used to free 411 calls and I know I asked the rep about them and they said information would still be free. BUT IT IS NOT. They charged me 1.25 per. I called and bitched and they gave me a credit. But I am still irritated by it.

I also still have not received my gift card for Target and my gas card and it is over 2 months now.

But overall... it's FANTASTIC!

Lucky!! I can't wait till we get FiOs in our area. They are laying all the ground work for it.

DH installs FiOs and the picture is absolutely amazing. We're big FiOs supporters

We don't have the TV portion of it but I love having it...DH will not part with Direct TV

Good luck, I heard the 8 hour install can be torturous.

And I know you aren't planning to go back to Cable but just in case somewhere down the road you want to, make sure you tell your Installer not to cut the Cable lines!!! (They have a record of doing that even though it's against the law! )

This is what we're getting. Plus we got a $50 target card, a 19" flat screen tv and a wireless router...all free.

I really want to make the switch but as of yet it is not available in my area.

Although there have TONS of Verizon trucks in my neighborhood this week. Perhaps they are getting ready to make it available. I hope so!

I love FIOS--unfortunately, I moved and they don't have it in my area

I am currently a Dish subscriber and there is a HUGE difference! FIOS picture and service is WAY better and they give you SO many more channels.

We just had it installed on Monday - So far we love it! The picture is great and the internet is pretty fast! The only weird thing is that when I call someone, some other person's name comes up on the caller ID!

For the people that have it, is it cheaper than Cablevision when you do all three (cable, phone, internet)? We're thinking of switching too.

I hate them! Every one of my bills comes in screwed up, I cancelled HBO when Sopranos ended and am still being charged, and after the one year is up, between internet and cable (Basic) my bill comes out to $125.00!!!!
