this is what my daycare provide has said to me about hannah.

is she a handful? yes. but does she deserve to be characterized as a monster? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she is an infant. she cries. stop using tylenol as a way to pacify her.

yes, seriously. my daycare provider called me up and said "hannah is so cranky, can i give her tylenol?" daycare provider thinks its teething. hannah wont take a bottle from daycare like she does at home. so i go there, leave my job early to feed her there to show them how to get her to eat. she drinks and is happy. did she need tylenol? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just find it appalling that someone would say this to a parent about their child. daycare provider even had the nerve to say this to my MOTHER when she picked up hannah from daycare last week.

if i could be a SAHM i would. how can i have faith in a provider that is so impatient with children????

i am sorry this is so long. i just am at my wits end.

I don't know your situation that much, but I think you need to find a new daycare provider, ASAP!

IMO, you need to get her out of there as soon as possible. This is not a positive environment for this precious child.

I feel for you, I had the same problem when dd was 7 months old and they kicked her out for "disrupting the other babies".
Actually she wasn't kicked out, I was told she could stay there if we paid extra for a one on one person.

You need to find another place- we were obviously forced to and it was THE BEST thing ever- I can't tell you what an amazing feeling it is to drop her off and know that not only is she being taken good care of, she is happy! I wish I had know then what I know now.

Wow, I'm sorry...That is terrible. If it is possible, I would look for new daycare now. Where do you live/work???Maybe we can all suggest our daycare/sitters. I use Tutor Time in West Islip and I am thrilled with them.

That's awful! You should look for another daycare, I'm sure you pay a lot of money and your family doesn't need this stress.

That's awful, I'm sure Hannah is no monster! I would have had a temper tantrum myself if anyone spoke about DS that way! She's an infant for crying out loud. If they can't handle it they're in the wrong line of work! I'm actually PO'd for you- that's just unacceptable!

Unacceptable...take your $$ out of there and put it towards a provider that has your daughters best interests at hand. Maybe Hannah is miserable there because she can sense they don't care for her

I really don't even know what to say. That is unacceptable and I would try to report them to someone. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. She is precious, all babies are and no one should say such awful things about an innocent baby.

I completely agree with everyone else. This is not a good environment for Hannah. No baby should ever be called a moster. That is awful

Find somepleace else where she will be seen as the wonderful child she is.

I wouldn't even give them the priveledge of taking care of her. I say find someone else who's deserving of the responsibility of understanding infants. That would totally break my heart to hear someone say that anyone, let alone a mother. Good luck.

if they are verbally telling you their frustration they are probably frustrated when you are not around and it is being expresed when your dd is there. Seriously, get her out and find someone that can care for her. Whether its your dd being hard or them being not capable...the situation is not working. there are people out there hat can better suit your dd. Dont give up and dont think its all your dd. Some people just dont want to work.

Is she at a center by your house or work? Roman used to go to a place in Deer Park, FM if you want details.

I would start looking for another provider. What they said about your daughter was IMO totally unprofessional and extremely rude.

That is horrible! I can't believe that!
I would call the State/City Dept. that does the Daycare inspections and report that - they need to know about issues such as that that arise. They'll post that info on inspection sites! You should let the Better Business Bureau know!
