Everything is going to be fine!!! I was up and moving around almost right away and by the time I got home, it was like nothing ever happened.

first off CONGRATS!
the c-section itself is no big deal, but it is uncomfortable for about 1 week after BUT you'll have your precious baby and you won't have time to care about it!

I totally agree! If my parents and hubby weren't keeping my mind occupied the 2 hours i had to wait before the surgery i would have been crying the whole time,i'm such a baby.
But I had really good experience, i just kept tellng myself it wasn't such surgery, i'm getting to hold my little blessing.
You'll do great!

I have to agree. I've had 2 and I think the worst part is just waiting to get it all started..... As painful as it will be at first, get up as soon as you can. The more you move, the easier it will become on your body.

Could not agree more. I thought the IV needle hurt more then the spinal needle. And then you feel nothing and don't see too much either.
Honestly, the thoughts were so much more then what happened when i got there.

I have to agree with Doodles, try to walk around. I was up and walking right away and had a speedy recovery.

Its not bad at all......worst part is getting up out of bed the first time...just try to move around as much as possible, will help a lot! Also, dont forget undies that go OVER the incision...GL

Nothing to worry about! Especially since it is planned you can relax and know what (for the most part) to expect. Good luck! You will be meeting your little one tomorrow!

The idea of the section is far worse than the actual surgery. REMEMBER - walk as soon as possible, take your pain meds and most of all ENJOY YOUR LITTLE 
I had a great experience, I wish you the same

Having a c-section was my WORST NIGHTMARE. I can't even tell you. But when it came down to it, the whole procedure from beginning to end was a breeze. There really was nothing to it. I PROMISE. Your anxiety and the anticipation make it SO much worse.
I did have a tough recovery...but that was me...
You are going to BE FINE!! And OMG!!!! She's going to be here TOMORROW!!!
Just remember that 
I wish you SO much luck and can't wait for the introduction of your little girl!!!

I totally agree, I had never had surgery, never been in the hospital, never had stitches or a broken bone. I was crying in the DR office 3 days before my section because I was so scared!
That was the worst part, the procedure was no biggie, and I had an easy virtually painless recovery!
Just thinking tomorrow your little one will be in your arms! Its the best feeling in this world!!!!

I had a section and I think the anticipation or the thought of maybe ending up with one is worse than the actual surgery.

Congratulations! I am sure you cannot wait to see your little one. Try not to worry about it. I had an unplanned c-section. The actual procedure is very quick. Make sure during the recovery you listen to what they tell you. Take all the pain medication they offer you, and as soon as you can walk around the hospital. During the day you are better off sitting in a chair then lying in your bed. Also, make sure you get your rest when you are in the hospital.

Totally! I didn't sleep a wink the night before my scheduled C-section. The surgery itself wasn't that bad!

Congrats!!!!! It definitly is better going in prepared then having a c birth after trying to labor. Try and get some sleep and think of the end product...YOUR GOING TO BE A MOMMY!!!!!
I think the worst thing was waiting the two hours for surgery while they prepped me and watching my dh eat breakfast that I couldn't have.
I do recommend if you feel a little nausea coming on during the procedure tell the anthelogist b/c he or she can give you something in the iv that will help you not to feel yucky afterwards.
I was up and around a few hours later.

I didn't even know they had started cutting me. I asked a question, thinking they were still prepping me, and they answered that they were just about to pull the baby out. I had no idea.
Remember that you are doing this for your baby!!!!!!
