As rewarding as it can be to wrok in the medical field, it truly never gets easy to lose a patient! Especially when it is a child....

how tough that must be. I admire people like you so much for working so tireslessly and selflessly in an effort to make other people's lives better...

So sorry, I'm sure it makes it so horribel that it was a child and it must be hard to detatch being that you have young children, I admire you, I don't know how you do it and for the family who lost their beloved child

I can't imagine ever getting used to that. There is a special place in heaven for people like you.
Know that the work you did made the parents' life a little easier, a little less hellish and that even in years to come they will still be talking about how wonderful & supportive that NICU nurses was.
