So annoying UPDATE
I'm on CD 17. Last month off BCP was 30 days. I started using smileys at CD9 so there would be no doubt about missing O. Never got a pos. Used CVS OPKs yesteday. Nothing! Had eveyr intention on going to get more smileys today but I woke up sick, went ot the closest store and they didn't have them. I used CVS ones 2x and nothing! I'll get lines but not as dark or darker. I'm so annoyed.

I find opks to be frustrating and confusing too. This was my 3rd month using them and I have yet to get a positive. I've seen the line get darker but never as dark or darker than the reference line. I started temping last month too which I like because it at least confirms when I ovulated so at least I know that I did even though the opk didn't tell me.

Really???? Bc i had a lot of ewcm and really expected a pos yes or today. Now im getting a little nervous. Have you considered the smileys? Im getting more of them tomorrow snd hopefully didnt miss my surge. We bd late th night and hopefully tomorrow so even if i did o well have a small chance. Thx for sharing.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you nervous!  It's very possible that you could still get a positive and that you didn't miss your surge. Cycles can be wacky coming off of birth control. I know mine have been. Just because I haven't had luck w opks doesn't mean they don't work for many women. It sounds like you have a good chance if you bd'd thurs and think you Od yest or today. It couldn't hurt to keep testing for a few days and try to bd again.

No no you didnt make me nervous! 
More like, am i oing at all? Do i have a short lp? Etc. i just as we all do, want this so bad and get scared sometimes something major is going to get in the way. Im sure itll all work out and i just came off bcp so im trying to stay optomistic. Thank u and

I got the closest thing to a positive this morning finally! CD 18, not too bad I guess. It was pretty much the same color. Andddd I'm sick so DH doesn't want to DTD. I'm trying my hardest to act not sick but he's not falling for it. Hopefully tomorrow otherwise I'll be out before I even had a chance to be in this month. We haven't BD since Thursday nt about midnight.

When are you testing?
If you are using the line tests you cannot test first thing in the morning. The LH needs time to metabolize in your system and be sufficiently detected in your urine which typically happens in the afternoon. If you test in the morning there is a good chance you will miss your surge.
Try testing around 4 pm after not peeing for at lest 4 hours.

These were the CVS ones. The I was doing in the afternoon, the cvs ones say fmu is OK and I got another pos this morning. But no yet. He's on his way home now and LO is asleep so I'm hoping he comes home and tackles me
