She's not breech anymore!
Sonya Grace is head down!!!!! Whew! This news made the long WAIT at the doc tonight worth it! Tell me if I'm being dramatic....my appt. was at 3:15. She was totally overbooked. DH took 1/2 day from work in the city and met me. We weren't taken until about 4:30. My doc (who I love normally) did the heartbeat, thought it was a little high and said, "She's probably still breech." i said, "Well, you're doing a sono now so we'll find out." It was clear to me right then that it either wasn't in my chart or she forgot. She said, "Oh yeah....ok, well someone is in the sono room so if you don't mind waiting just a bit more, we'll clear it out and take you guys right in." She apologized for having us wait, DH was already going bananas waiting and couldn't believe we had to wait again. So now 45 minutes goes by and I'm getting almost teary eyed waiting, because i think she's still breech. The front desk ladies are like, "You guys are still here?" I said, "She clearly forgot she was doing a sonogram so yes, we're here waiting." Of course now I feel awful because I'm sure my tone wasn't so nice. Doc took us, but we did end up waiting until 5:30 for the sono. After we saw baby was head down, she high-fived me and I made a joke that that was worth all the waiting. My mom just told me it sounded like i was being rude and that she's going to be delivering the baby and I shouldn't have said any of that.....what do you think?! DH is now ranting that no one values anyone's time and is telling me he hopes she "shows up" to deliver the baby! I think it was a bad night there, and she was very overbooked. I'm wondering if they're all talking about me and my lack of patience....but 34-weeks pregnant, emotional girl over here!

I'm glad everything worked out and that she is head down!!
I would be annoyed also! I hate waiting at the doctors office, but you waited a lot longer than I usually do. That comment would have thrown me off the edge especially after waiting that long and with these pregnancy hormones, forget it!!!!!

i don't think you insulted the doctor or the staff. i wouldn't worry about that at all. so what you may have had a bit of an attitude - you are pregnant, stressed and were waiting forever in the office - to me that is understandable  and it didn't seem like you upset your doc as she was joking around with you!
that is so great that your  is head down!!!! what a pleasant surprise for you!!

congrats that she is head down, thats great.
As for the waiting, well I think it is pretty common now a days. I usually tell dh to meet me there atleast a half hour after my apt time, because he, like your dh, would get really annoyed that he left work and sat in a waiting room for hrs. I normally dont even care anymore because I am so used to it and I still have the excitement to see the baby, so I would wait all day if I had to.
I do not think you were rude at all and I do not think the dr would ever hold it against you during your delivery even if she thought it was rude. I am sure she was getting complaints all night long

Thanks, girls! It's just like me to care too much what everyone thinks. We were both just dying to see the baby, to find out if she was breech...but of course, he was so upset he left work early needlessly.
Anyway, the bright spot is that she turned! I feel like a weight has been lifted. One less thing to worry about!

All that matters is your baby is head down!!!!!!!!!! The doc has heard waaaaay worse from pregnant mammas and I'm sure NEVER has let that get in the way of her professionalism! Don't even worry yourself one iota about it!!!
