When does it not matter anymore if the baby is breech

I will be 33 weeks on Fri and the baby has been in the same breech position for what seems like weeks...the poor thing seems to have run out of space in my short torso and literally dances on my bladder (ouch!)...now that I'm nearing the end, when should I start standing on my head our something to get this baby in the right position..or should I not worry at all and know the baby will get into birthing position on its own? Thanks!

When my baby was breech at 31 weeks, my doctor said that 20% of babies are still breech at that point and that only 5% remain that way when it's time for delivery. So there's definitely a chance the baby will move. I'm 36 weeks now and since then, my baby has moved back and forth (head down, feet down) three times in the last 5 weeks.

My baby was breech until about 29-30 weeks.

My dr. had said if he hadn't moved by 36-37 weeks, we would have to start thinking about a c-section...but you still have time, so I hope he turns!!!

She told me to lie on all fours (almost like doggy-style), with my head down...this supposedly helps the baby turn.

Abby was breech and turned at 35 weeks. I ended up with a c-section anyway for a different reason.

I'm 36 weeks and my baby is till breech. He's been breech for most of my pregnancy, I think there was only 1 sonogram he was not. (26 weeks)
The dr. says you never know but I'm hoping he'll stay this way. I wanted a csection from the very start!

They won't attempt an external version (if you want one) until 37 weeks. They would schedule a c-section for 39 weeks and monitor you every other day in the last week or so leading up to that to check if the baby has turned.
