Shadow line -WHEN I POAS *** UPDATE

UPDATE**** I tested again today at 14 DPO and the light line is still there and a little bit more visible than yesterdays. . Still won't show on a digital. ... I am so confused. Shouldn't the line start getting significantly darker. STILL NO AF and I am about 2 days late
Could there be something wrong ? Is this common.
THIS IS YESTERDAYS POST********Today, is 13 DPO ovulation & i have for the past few days taken several test...(yes I have a bit of OCD).lol


The past few mornings starting from 10DPO there has been every morning a faint (I MEAN FAINT) Lightish pink shadow line on every test. It was so faint that you had to hold it up to the light to even recognize it. So i have continues to take test on 11dpo & 12 DPo....hoping there would be a visible line. BUT NO. There was still only a shadow of a line. IS THIS COMMON TO keep getting a SHAdow line ( that you literally have to hold up to the light and squint to see) on FRER??


Today at 13DPO the same very light-thin line is there but now visible a lit bit more from afar- without the need to squint... i

I am so confused. I am afraid I am getting myself to believe this is a line- When it really isn't. PLus shouldn't by now a real line show up that is clearly visible and pink by 13DPO? If it;s not showing up on this then I guess a digital prob wouldn't work yet

I got a BFN- Does that mean i am out.?????? But i still keep getting faint lines on FR.

hmmm it's really hard to tell by the pic.

Are you using FMU?

EtA- actually i think i see a line? When i turn my head sideways lol

i'd keep testing until either AF arrives or you get a darker line!

Take a digital test. I can't really see much just blurry pink.

my positive line at 12DPO wouldn't even photograph it was so faint. but the digital take right after (with FMU) came up positive right away!

i can see a faint pink line there, even though it's blurry. a "shadow" or evap line would come up after 10 minutes and would not be pink, it would be a greyish color.

i think you are pregnant! test tomorrow with FMU and use a digital that way there is no questioning

I DID take a digital about 10 mins ago- it said NOT pregnant. I hope that is just is too soon and i didn't use FMU, and not showing on a digital yet. Took another FR and still getting a very faint line

Try again tomorrow with FMU. If you are still getting that line and AF doesn't show, call your OB and see if you can get a Beta/hCG test-that test does not lie! Good luck!

Two things to remember. One is that the digital tests are not as sensitive as the line tests - so you could very well get an early positive with a line test and not get a positive on a digital until there is more pregnancy hormone in your body a few days later.

Two - even though you are 13DPO, you could have had a late implanter and I *believe* this means that you don't have as much hormone in your system yet.

So, keep testing and I hope that line gets darker and darker and you get your + on a digital soon!!!

the dollar tree tests are more sensitive
if you can get some of those they need less hcg hormone to show a +

I see the line; and to be honest, my first line was lighter than that!!!

i would go get a digital. i tested at 10DPO with BFN, and again at 12DPO and BFP..my lines were faint, but got progressively darker as the days went on. the digital came up right away though.

its the clearest way to tell.

however, from your pic, i can see the faint line so im hoping this is good news!

ETA: just read your update. if you're early on or you can be earlier than you think..the digitals arent as sensitive.

if you can w/o killing someone wait a few more days to test again.

If the faint line is coming up right away (or within a few minutes), I'd say thats good news!! If you're looking at it 10 or 15 minutes after testing, it could be an evaporation line... but soon after should be a +!!!!!

Digitals are more sensitive, so give it a few more days with it! Mine showed up right away, but it might take a little longer for yours.

I definitely see a line there. Try and take the digital tomorrow morning with FMU and hopefully it will be positive!
I saw the faitest line at 9dpo and then I tested every morning and they didn't get much darker until AF was late! As long as AF doesn't show you are still in!!! Good luck! Keep us posted!

I saw very faint lines with regular tests, did a digital and got a BFN, took another digital the next morning got a BFP, and now I have a beautiful 15 week old son.

Good Luck! I would have to say you are definitely not out yet. Digitals are way more sensitive.
