DS pees in his bath all the time.
I would not change it if he already in the water.
Ditto.
Poop on the other hand.
EVERYTHING OUT OF THE WATER!!!
And we start all over.
Same- plus the wonderful diluted bleach bath for ALL her bath toys

Re: Settle a dispute: Bathing and Peeing
When DS was still in the infant bathing tub I would drain and start from scratch.
Now that he is in the bathtub I dont know what is going on under the water and bubbles so he stays in. A few times he stood up grabbed his cup and pp in that. I guess he likes to bathe in pp free water.
FLOATERs on the other hand are a different story GRAB THE BLEACH

Re: Settle a dispute: Bathing and Peeing
He usually pees once he gets in. I usually start with washing his face with a washcloth so if he pees before I get to dip the cloth I run it under the sink for clean water, wash his face and then continuing washing him in the bath water with the little bit of pee. I can't bring myself to dip my washcloth in the pee water for his face, but for his body, eh....

Re: Settle a dispute: Bathing and Peeing
Bathing two at the same time, I'm sure more often than not one of them pees. If I was to change the water, bath time would take all night.
Don't want to jinx myself but we've never had floaters yet Maybe the VERY early days but not since the newborn stage.

Re: Settle a dispute: Bathing and Peeing
Keep him in the tub. People don't realize that your kid prob pees everytime they bathe, you just don't see it. It's natural, it's sterile and I always do a little rinse when he's done. So not a big deal to me! Don't think it's gross at all...

Re: Settle a dispute: Bathing and Peeing
I am sure he pees everytime. He has done it since he was a newborn. We just keep going. So far we have had no pooping in the tub.

OMG thats a lot of work - I would do that if he pooped, not if he peed!!! He pees every 5 seconds!!!
I was thinking the same thing! I would have to change the water 4 or 5 times!!!
