Sesame seed crust pizza
Where can I find a pizzeria that does this on a standard pie not specialty? Ive been craving this lately! TIA

A place in wantagh/seaford area....forget the name...
Also a place in Northport, Nina's I believe. But it's an option for both places, not standard.

I think there's a place on Grand Avenue in Queens- Joey's? But I'm not sure if it's changed owners. It's been a long time since I've had it!

Yes Joey's used to go there all the time...his pizza's were no joke...really good!

As I said above....
I finally thought of the name....Spassos in Wantagh on Wantagh ave. I think they call it a Brooklyn pie...make sure you ask but they make the sesame seed crust. It's awesome. You HAVE to try it. They won some pizza competition on the Food network years ago I believe.

Is this a good pizza place all around? We are in Medford, that location isnt too far and we are always looking for a REALLY good pizza place in the area, so far we have never been fully satisified with anywhere near my area.

Oh yeah. Very tasty. Great people work there. I have never had anything bad from them. Worth the trip.

Spasso's in Lindenhurst makes a delicious pie in general, but even yummier with the sesame seeds.....good luck finding a yummy pizza
