Scary moment at daycare
A girl in DS class had a febrile seizure. Her fever spiked and they noticed she was out of it when she woke up from nap. The staff new exactly what to do and gave her something to reduce her fever, and the ambulance came asap. She is perfectly fine now and will be back at school next week. I spoke with the owner when I got to daycare to pick up DS b.c there was an ambulance in the parking lot. That was scary seeing that.
The owner told me the staff new what to do and they are all trained in CPR.
It was actually the second ambulance to come. The first took the girl and obviously the second didn't know. Weird
I just gave DS lots of hugs and kisses when I walked into his class.
It was scary, but makes me feel even better than I did about the school and staff. Very family oriented.

That is scary, but it must be nice to know that your DS is in the hands of really capable and responsible people.
