My Scary Moment Last Night
My daughter woke up around 2:15 last night. So I walked her back to her bed and tucked her in. I then proceeded to my Son's room to check on him. (i always check on them both if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night)
I didn't see James in his bed, thought it was because I was half asleep so I rubbed my eyes...still couldn't focus in on James. Walked over to the bed, NO JAMES. I ran around to the other side of the bed; thinking he must have fell out and is on the floor...still NO JAMES. I went running back to my bedroom, yelled at DH to get up, because I couldn't find James. He ran into James' room while I ran through the house turning on all the lights to look for him. DH came running back out of the room and ran to check that all the doors were still locked. Both of us in a panic now. We are pretty sure he is in the house because we never heard the alarm chime indicating that a window or door was opened. We run back to his room and open the closet door and DH checks under the bed. DH starts laughing...I get on my knees and look under the bed. There was James curled up with his teddy bear sleeping UNDER THE BED.
I asked James this morning why he went under the bed to sleep...he told me he was camping.

OMG! I would have died!
DD just learned how to "hide" and she is darn good at it. The other day the neighbors got a full show of me running around the house screaming her name thinking she got abducted. She was sitting on the side porch, laughing at me.
