I think every kid is different so I can't give an exact age but I imagine somewhere from 8-10 is when you would start with some basic knowledge and then as they get older explain more and answer their questions more in depth. As far as approach I'm not really sure, good thing I have some time to think about it and figure something out!

I'd say maybe 10--unless it was a girl and she got her period before that age.
I will say I'll have it earlier than my mother had it with me...30 years later still waiting for it...
