Santa Experience Pics creepy?
Ok, I am sure I am in the minority, but I find these pictures downright creepy. I thought it had something to do with the quality of them being on FB, but I got a card and I actually flinched when I opened the envelope. Anyone else think this? What am I missing? I don't get the appeal at all.

Is it because they are edited to make the children look like they are illustrations in book almost?
Almost like they are not real?
Or do you find the Santa creepy?

YES! My mom got a card with about 5 different images and they are so creepy. I think maybe if it was just one image, it wouldn't be so bad. But then one of our friends had them done and they look really good so maybe it depends on where they are printed.

Not Santa per se, the whole scene.
It all just looks "off" to me, very fake.

I really don't like them. Some of them are creepy but they are all over the top and really fake looking. It's like the kiddie version of the boudoir pictures.

I will say some of the cards we received this year were really out of focus. I also know quite a few people skipped cards this year. They put out fb posts about them. I just did mine and need to pick them up from Costco tomorrow. I did new years cards instead of holiday cards this year.

OMG yes!
I think they're hideous. I don't know if I think they're creepy per se but I can see why people might think that, if that makes sense.
Very fake looking too.

I think the idea is cool and fun but I don't know if I would spend the money on it. Especially bc now it is so popular it lost that magical feel (to me).

Santa Experience Pics creepy?
Not my style at all. I, too, have received a few holiday cards where the pictures came from the Santa Experience and there was something "off" about them. I still can't put my finger on what it is exactly -- weird, bizarre, fake -- I dunno. I have all the photo cards hanging up my staircase banister and the other day, DH pointed to the 2 cards and said "What's up with the children of the corn? Their eyes are following me as I walk up the stairs." HAHAHA! Clearly, he agrees.

They creep me out. I can handle photos, and I can handle the drawn caracature cards. But these lie somewhere inbetween.

last year the quality of the pics were much better. she got too big too quick and hired other people to try to do her job and they over compensated. i was not thrilled with my pics but they were pretty good. some of my friends were terrible

From what I hear it is super expensive and they are starting to book NOW for next Christmas. I was hoping it would die out so I don't get scared opening my cards.

They don't even look like cute illustrations. Just so off. I feel bad for people that spent a lot, especially if she is using untrained people to do the editing.

Santa Experience Pics creepy?
I saw some online from last year on the girl's site....I thought they were nice. They are supposed to look "fake" so to speak...like a Normal Rockwell painting. I haven't peeked at any this year, I'll have to go look now!
