Roseola?
I posted yesterday that I thought DD was having a reaction to the chicken pox vaccine that she got on Tuesday, even though dr's office said it's too early for that. She had a fever Wednesday afternoon and all day yesterday. I noticed one bump on the top of her hand that honestly looked a little chicken-pox-like. She wasn't hungry all day, but other than that, wasn't acting terribly different.
Today she woke up with no fever. She ate breakfast and drank her milk. She did tell me that her body hurt (achy?) but she's playing. As the morning progressed I noticed that she had a rash, pretty much everywhere. I don't see it on her face but it's on arms, legs, hands, feet, and diaper area is really bad. My mom was a pediatric office manager for years (but not a nurse) and said it doesn't look like coxsackie. I called the office. They said most likely not the shot, but roseola.
I thought the fever for roseola was really high (I took her temp once and it was 101.3) and lasted for a few days?
Does this sound like roseola to you? She has a birthday party tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do. Nurse said she is no longer contagious once fever breaks and rash shouldn't bother her.
ETA: Because she was achy, my mom suspected Fifth's but she doesn't have the classic "hand print" face rash. I hope it's not fifth's as I'm pregnant and it can be dangerous.

Roseola?
DD had roseola and the highest her fever got was 102 but most of the time it was 100-101. The fever lasted for 3 days and then the rash came and took a few days to clear up. The doctor did mention not to have her near someone in their first trimester so you may want to see what your doctor says on that.

Thanks! I'm six months so fortunately long out of first trimester.
