WWYD? Re: DS sick (maybe roseola) and going to the babysitter? (long)

Ugh - so I posted yesterday that Jordan was running a fever for the first time really. He alternates between being a total crank and being happy/fine.
Today was his 1st birthday party. When I was getting him ready for the bath tonight, I noticed a very light rash on his chest and belly. Almost looked like light brown freckles. Spoke to nurse at ped's office - she thought roseola possibly. His rash doesn't look anything like pics I was seeing online. Fever wasn't as high as the descriptions either but some things sounded right. She said that I don't need to call the moms of other babies/kids because if he got rash today he is already not contagious.
In any case - would you send him to the babysitter tomorrow? We have an employee planning day and will possibly get out early - I would have to use up a sick day if I dont have to. My babysitter has a son but nurse said Jordan's not contagious if he already has a rash. We are seeing the ped on Tues for his one year appt.

I'd call your sitter and see what she says. Considering your son is not contagious, I'm sure she wont have a problem.

She and her family were at his party today. She said she had no problem about him coming with a fever but I'm going to text her and mention the possible roseola. Thanks!

my ds has the same thing right now, he had 104.5 fever and now a rash. doc told me once he has the rash he is no longer contagious
