Registering....BRU or BBB? Or Both?

Starting to think about registering but probably waiting to see if we're team or .

I've only bought shower gifts for others at either BRU or BBB. Both stores are close to me so that's not an issue.

What was your experience when you registered, or had to make returns?

Which do you like better as far as selection and price, and customer service?

Register at one? Or both?

Register at both! There are way more BRU than BBB around, so it'll be more convenient for everyone. Customer service at BBB is top notch, so go there first to figure out what you'll want/need. You can always have duplicates at BRU and just return if you receive duplicates! The people at BBB know a lot about the products and I didn't get that feeling at BRU.

ETA: Returns at BBB is easy - as long as it scans, they take it back. BRU is terrible, but they will take returns within a certain time period ONLY if it's on your registry. If someone gets something in a different color, they won't accept it as a return. Really annoying.... I had to put the items ON my registry after the fact just to return them. Annoying!!!

We registered at BBB. They are great and know alot about their products. Only problem is that they are more expensive than BRU. I think more people shop at BRU for the prices and the convience. That being said, I personally HATE BRU. They are the devil! Returns are really hard, although they are getting a little better now that they are able to trace a purchase by rewards card number if you don't have the receipt. I still shop there just for the exact reason that I stated others shop there. In addition, they offer alot more coupons than BBB. It's truly a personal decision. If I could do it all over again, I would have registered at both stores. What BRU lacks in selection is def made up by BBB. And again, BBB is great at helping you pick out the essentials like a stroller and car seat. At BRU you are pretty much on your own.

I had one at each. BRU has more stuff and is more convenient for a lot of people, but BBB carried some of the stuff I wanted - they carry some of the more higher end brands that BRU does not. BRU does not have a great return policy, but I knew about it so I just added things online before I went in to return them and had no issues. Also, BBB took some other things. It was fine in the end and I got the things I wanted - I could not have if I just went with one of them.

Thanks for the input - maybe we will do both Just from going to BBB once I know I saw a different selection than what BRU had.....I think I'm going to make a trip without my DH and take my time looking and bring him back when it's time
