I always wear a seat belt when I sit in the front. I never wear one when I sit in the back.

My god mother was in an accident a while ago, she was sitting in the back seat and got thrown over the passengers seat through the windsheild and landed about 50 feet away....needless to say she is VERY lucky to be alive.

This is horrible, but I hardly ever wear it when I'm sitting in the back seat....I guess I should make it a habit that I do, like we learned in the defensive driving class!

Yes. Working on an ambulance for the past 11 years has shown me time and time again how necessary they are REGARDLESS of what seat you are sitting in.

i always wear a seatbelt no matter where i sit in the car and i dont move my car when i am the driver until everyone is wearing their seatbelts no matter how old they are i dont want to have to live with the guilt if god forbid something happened and they got hurt.

I ALWAYS wear my seat belt... I lost my brother and 2 cousins in a car accident and none of them were wearing their seatbelt.
If something can save your life why wouldn't you use it????!!!!

DH and I got in a fight once about it. There were three people in the back and I didn't put mine on (it was mooshy - so much effort to get it). 
I think it is cause our seatbelts in the back were broken when I was a kid, and I got stuck back there once for what seemed like forever. I always think it is going to jam again.

I always wear mine. It's automatic for me, get in the car, put on your seatbelt. It shouldn't matter if you are in the back seat - it's for your own safety.
