Question RE: Colic Calm/ Gripe Water
1. Does this work better than little tummies gas drops?
2. Is there a real difference between colic calm and regular gripe water? It's double the price...

from my experience there was no difference in the effects it had on my DD. Both worked equally well. I preferred the gripe water though because it was clear. Colic Calm was black (at least I think it was colic clam) and it made a mess everywhere when I gave it to her.

I used them both. I used the gas drops before every bottle, and the gripe water only when DD was having a real screaming session that we could not remedy. It usually calmed her down pretty quickly, at least for a few minutes!

In My experience Colic Calm worked wonders and gas drops did nothing. I did not use gripe water so I cannot comment on that. I had a couple of accidents with the CC which was annoying but it helped DS so much.

colic calm and gripe water are similar products. They help settle the stomach. We used gripe water regularly.
gas drops are to settle gas, not necessarily n upset stomach.

Little Tummies did nothing for DS's colic.
2 of my friends swore by gripe water but i never used it.

DD HATED gripe water and screamed as we gave it to her, but it really helped. Be sure to keep it in the fridge though

I used Colic Calm, regular gripe water, gas drops and Colic Ease with DS. Out of those, I thought Colic Calm worked the best.

What a great post! I am using the little tummies gas drops - before bottles... I have the gripe water but haven't tried yet.
We have been doing chamomile tea in the AM and in the evening in addition to switching formula.

Colic Calm was AMAZING. Gripe water was ok, but we did use it when he was older.

i put gas drops in every bottle and gripe water when needed. never tried colic calm tho. it was so pricey. gripe water always worked.
