gripe water question

I am starting to give dd gripe water to try and help with her gas and spitting up.

How often can I give it? Is it like mylicon that you can give at every feeding?

Did you notice a difference when you used it

I dont remember how often but usually DS would have a large poop shortly after and then pass right out.

I dont think you can give it as frequent as mylicon, I want to say its something like up to 6 times a day....it says it somewhere, either on the bottle or on the box it comes in. It did help DS a little.

Im not sure how often you can use it. I only used it when my DD wouldnt calm down after diaper change, feeding and rocking. It did help the few times I used it but i noticed she would spit up/throw up allot after i used it so i try not to use to often.

On the Little Tummies bottle, it says you can give it a particular # of times a day (don't remember if it is 6 or 8) but you have to wait at least 30 minutes between doses.

when DD is having a bad day, i will put it in her bottles. I use the one that also has camolmile in it, i get it from whole foods, it's called wellements gripe water. it's kinda hard to overdose the baby on it, because all it is is ginger, fennel, and camomile. just give the 5 ml when she's cranky, and then in some bottles to keep her happy and see how that works :O)
