Question for those that are swelling.......
What are you doing to eleviate the swelling? I find that as the day goes on, my feet/ankles get worse but my hands get better. And then in the morning my feet/ankles are better but my hands are worse.
I try and keep my feet elevated high but it's not always possible.
Sometimes my hands and feet actually HURT if I try to bend them. Anyone else?

Re: Question for those that are swelling.......
My feet have been swelling since around 27 weeks and have gotten worse over the weeks. My Dr isn't worried because my hands and face aren't swelling. I have been wearing support stockings and find they help alittle. I also found if I elevate my feet all night from the second I get home the swelling goes down but I am very uncomfortable. They do hurt a little if they become REALLY swollen.

Re: Question for those that are swelling.......
My feet started swelling at around 17 weeks... They look so bad right now, that I have worse than cankles...
I try to keep them elevated when I get home.
I tried compression stockings, but they hurt more than helped. I also try to always keep shoes on. It keeps your feet from swelling...
As for my hands. They are both swollen, but the right more than the left. In fact I fell asleep holding a wayer bottle last night, and my hand was stuck in that position, and I couldn't open it...
My right hand also has carpel tunnel and is always numb which doesn't help.. I try to wear a brace, but nothing seems to work right now..

This is basically what happened to me. Baths helped, nothing else really-I ended up getting preeclampsia so be careful

Re: Question for those that are swelling.......
Im only having problems with my feet swelling... 1 foot is WAY worse then the other..
I have tried putting them up, changing shoes, not eating salty things, drinking lots of water...
And ya know what-
I have yet to find 1 thing to make a difference..
On sunday- I was on my feet cleaning, lifting, moving things around and my feet were completly normal... TODAY Im at work and have basically sat behind the desk the entire day, and my 1 foot is SCARY looking...
I give up!!!

Re: Question for those that are swelling.......
I'm pretty much the same way so whenever i can i put my feet up. My rings havent been on in a while(except for church ) since they usually dont fit in the morning. When i wake up i look at my feet and say hello to my ankles because i know they wont be there after i get to work. There's really not much you can do besides try to put them up as much as possible and drink alot of water. The water helps a little bit, but not completly.
