question re swelling please?
a woman at work told me that she got really swollen (edema) legs ankles during her 2 pregnancies and her ankles never went back to normal afterwards? is this true??? how can this happen? she is not overweight and she's really tall (over 6 ft). i'm terrifed because mine are starting to swell now and i'm only 18 1/2 weeks with my first. thank you

phew - thank you!!! i don't understand why some people need to scare pregnant people like that!!! were yours swollen throughout your pregnancy from the second trimester on... thank you!

mine started in the 3rd trimester...being on my feel all day and the hot summer didnt help.

MIne were huge during pregnancy. They went down about 2 weeks after Alyssa was born.

Mine were HUGE and they are back to normal now....my hands took a little longer and my fingers are still going down.
DS is 20 days old.
