Question about formula/Cereal?
Ds is 3 months old and is finishing 8oz bottles at almost every feeding... Sometimes even more. He is already 17lbs. My mom is telling me to start him on cereal early because he is "a hungry baby."  Did anyone else have this problem? Oh and one of the doctors in my office told me that too much formula is bad on their kidneys. TIA

Andrew was def up and over 8oz at 3 months and we did start him on cereal at that time.
I never heard that about the kidney problems

They had the same problem. The dr told us to put in a little bit of cereal (1tsp) to help them. It sounds small but it worked for us. Good luck!!

I had this exact problem. James was starving and sucking down 8 oz bottles every 3 hours. We started him at 3 months on cereal.

dd is 3 months and I have the same problem. I gave in this week and she loves the tsp of cereal. I would definitely give him something.
