He didn't call it a push present (I don't like that name) but he did get me a diamond and Opal necklace. DS's birthstone.

My Push present was my DD.....DH didn't get me anything but that was perfectly OK with me.
In fact I never even heard of them before until AFTER I had her...

I kept joking around throughout my pregnancy that I couldn't wait to "push this kid out so I could have a margarita before summer's end."
Well, I came home from the hospital to this:
(everybody got me margarita stuff as a gift...from tequila to mixes. It was hysterical! )
I'm such a lush!

I never got a "push" present. Personally I think thats a little odd. Plus I had a scheduled C-section, so there was no pushing. I don't think a C-section present was ever discussed.
But while I was very pregnant and uncomfortable by DH got me the new Ipod out of the blue. Also for mother's day (a month after I gave birth) he got me a diamond necklace. Frankly the "just beacuse" gift meant more to me than anything. He just wanted to get me something to make me happy.

he called and got housecleaners to come to the house and clean the whole house the day before my c-section..he cooked the whole week I was out before the baby came, as well as the 2 weeks after, did all the laundry afterwards (well he had to, I couldn't do stairs) and pretty much did the housework for 2 weeks straight.

After going through what I went through (IVF) I thought it would be nice if DH got me a little something! So I sort of suggested it.....but he let me pick out what I wanted. I got emerald earrings and an emerald heart pendant (emerald is Jackson's birth stone).
Honestly, having a healthy baby was enough of a present, but I can never pass up the opportunity to get some jewelry!

lucky you! that's the best gift!
i wasn't expecting anything and never heard of it, but some of DH's friends told him about it so he got me one of those baby shoe pendants.

yup, tiffany bracelt that within 1 week had my daughter's name inscribed on it
my 2nd daughter stackable eternity rings with diamonds and their borthstone in it (for both of my daughters).
my son, he got me an eternity diamond band.
I feel this is sentimental and I am so excited to think that on their wedding day I will give each of them the piece of jewelry that their father gave me to commemorate each of their births lovesick:

I got a pair of diamond earrings since my bday/anniversary/birth of my daughter was all within a month.
For mothers day I got a Tiffany necklace that I will hand down to my daughter when she becomes a mom.
