My Push present was my DD.....DH didn't get me anything but that was perfectly OK with me.
In fact I never even heard of them before until AFTER I had her...

he didn't call it a push present, but when sarah was born he gave me a piece of jewelry i'd wanted for a long time and he wanted to give me for a really special event.

same here - he knew I wanted princess cut diamond studs for a long time, so he surprised me with them in the hospital.
(I ABHOR the term "push present")

Not necessarily a push present, but I want to get Opal earrings - they come in two and so did the girls (Opal is their birthstone).

DH gave me diamond and sapphire band-the one that I always wanted and picked out-- for mothers day a months after Benjamin was born. He wanted to give me something special, but wanted to make sure it was something I like.
I wouln't call it a push present, I hate that term also. It was just a gift in appreciation of our son and my first mother's day.

I had something similar to this made after Andy was born. It has their name on the front and birthday on the back. Very simple, I love them. I never take them off.

just before i was getting ready to push....my ob says to my husband hey reed do you want to deliver your son?( we are both NICU nurses and we are close with our ob) my husband says yes and they gown and glove him and he delivered our son. right down to the placenta. it was the most amazing feeling i have ever had and the best "push present" anyone couldve given me!

I didn't expect anything, but when I came home from the hospital, DH had made a basket for me. It had candy, a plant, bottles of wine, and a gift certificate for a massage and facial. The card was really cute, too, he signed it from James and said something like sorry I gave you such a hard time, my daddy is really proud of you. It was so sweet. I didn't expect a "push present" but it was really nice and I was so surprised.
