the brits don't pronounce the tt in bottle.... it's 'bo-l'.... they leave a spacer, for the tt's though

I think supposably is one of the biggies for me.
That and JEWlery... Um, it's jewELry like "jule-ry". 
Oh yeah and NUCULAR instead of nucLEAR.
But I always say ORange and FLOORida. Any other way sounds so weird to me.

OMG so pet peeve!! my BIL pronounces the leg as LEY-egg and egg as AYEgg drives me BONKERS!!!!
Brits accent annoy the heck out of me. Probally bc i was in antigua and dh and i were the only 2 americans there. GRRRR i was pulling my hair out half way into the vacation!

My all time favorite is acks... as in "Can I acks you a question?" EEWWW I hate that.
OHHH another one is "Man-ha-in" (Manhattan)....I hate that even more..
Just for fun, my SIL, said she never heard anyone but a New Yorker say "Not for Nothing"..

LOL. I had two friends in college (WHO ARE NYers) tell me that I made up "not for nothing" and that no one but me says that.... um really??? lol

My dad says Lay-ge and Ay-ge. We tease him and say it's the Brooklyn still in him.
He also says the Jy-nts instead of Giants and Museem instead of Museum and bunk your head instead of bump your head.
I love him, though. And we tease him because he can take the joking.
AH HA! You may have just figured it out for me!
Both of the people who pronounce leg like lay-ge grew up in Brooklyn.
So maybe it's a Brooklyn thing?

And of course Sopposebly instead of Supposedly. (can't believe no one said that one yet)
And the most annoying to me.. Pete Sakes instead of Pete's Sake... same goes for God Sakes instead of God's Sake... Victoria Secrets instead of Victoria's Secret.
I was going to post the supposobly one but you beat me to it. I have a friend that is a teacher that to this day says it that way. She also says i seen instead of i saw . Like I "seen" Mike at the store today! Drives me CRAZY!
