Prenatal Vitamins Question
Be honest. How many times do you take yours a week?
Is it terrible of me that once or twice a week I forget to take mine? I forgot mine yesterday and possibly the day before... i feel terrible.

Right now I'm only taking folic acid per my midwife, I can't stomach the prenatals. I miss one, maybe two, days a week. With DS I never missed a day!

Dont feel terrible! It happens... Maybe set an alarm on your phone so you dont forget? I know my Dr stresses to me the importance of taking the vitamins everyday. She asks me at every visit. That and if Im drinking enough water! LOL

I prob miss on average about 2 days a week... Sometimes I just forget all day and then remember by the time Im in bed and am too lazy to get back up...

I take my gummy vitamins every night right before bed with my extra D3 and E vitamins for my thyroid. I keep them next to the bed so I have no excuses.
So far so good with my prenatals

Honestly with my first, I didn't start taking them until after 12wks when the nausea went away and even then I didn't remember every night.
With my second I don't even think I took 1! Oopsies

i am pretty good. and im surprised, usually i am bad at a daily routine like that.
why dont you leave them on your pillow. i take them at night and i leave them right there so that i never forget. unless you sleep on top of them, you will remember when they are right there

That would be an awesome idea for me except that my one cat loves my dha pill. He's stolen it a few times from me Andthe other pills he likes to bat around! Crazy kitty!

i have cats too! they are insane and will bat anything around but...i meant the whole bottle....would they bother that?
or i put it in the pillow case...when i take off my watch or something in the middle of the night, i stick it in there cuz if they dont see if, they wont look in the pillow case

I have one of those "old people" pill cases that has the days of the week on it. It's the only way I can remember whether or not I took them.

I keep the vitamins by my keurig.I started this to remind me to take my regular multi. And it's stuck because I don't even drink coffee everymorning anymore since finding out I'm pg.

I do the same thing. It's the only way I can be sure whether I took it or not each day.

I took them religiously in the beginning. For some reason I keep forgetting lately though! The past 3 or 4 weeks I have probably missed like 2 pills a week.

I take them most of the time... there r some nights I forget (I take them before bed) or there are some nights my belly feels so huge & full before bed I can't even think about getting the pill down bc I have to drink a lot of water to take it bc I'm a baby when it comes to taking pills lol

I take them every night before bed. I have been taking meds before bed for so long now (allergy meds, IF meds, etc.), that it just part of my routine.

Everyday! I rarely have ever missed a day. I'm a little strict about them. I made sure to take them months before I even started to try to get PG. I also have to take a supplemental Vit D and Iron pill. I will say I do forget those once in a while.
Even when I had horrible M/S, I tried to take them everyday. If I really couldn't tolerate them, I took a gummy vitamin.

Honestly I more often than not don't take my prenatals. I am just not a pill person.
I try to eat a healthy balanced diet. The days that I eat crappy, I take my prenatals.

This is me too...with both pregnancies I tried to be good, but I just forget to much. Unfortunately I've always been like that with all of the medicines that I've ever needed to take (except for antibiotics).

Lately, for some reason i have been forgetting to take them. at first i was always so good at remembering i never take them at the same time each day, whenever i remember them i take them. i would say though at most i miss 1-2 days a week...
