Prayers tonight please!
I brought my Schultz to the vet on Monday night b/c he was favoring a paw and not jumping..Dr. gave me anti-inflammatory, but took blood just in case. Schultz just turned 4 on April 10, is usually very healthy and active.
Partial tests came back last night that his White Blood Cells were 116000, 10x the normal amount and Red Blood Cells were half their normal amount. The Vet called today with the rest of the results, but he doesn't believe it is Schultz's tests, he thinks the lab made a mistake. He says the results do not match the dog he saw on MOnday, with results like this he should be despondant, lethargic, and non-responsive, etc. None of which he is. He wants to restest his blood today.
Please please please pray for my Schultz tonight. I can't bear to lose him.

**UPDATE***
It has been confirmed by a specialist that Schultz has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, stage 5, very aggressive. I cannot put him through chemo when it will only give him, possibly two more months. That would be for me, not for him. We will enjoy the time we have left with him.
I really can't believe I am writing this, I have no idea how I will get over losing him, I wasn't prepared for him not to grow old. There's a part of me that knows that God doesn't make these things happen, they just do. But I am angry, so angry. Three pregnancies and now my precious Schultz.
