If you could keep us in your prayers tonight....
We have court tomorrow morning... I have been sick to my stomach, and not able to keep my mind on anything but....
Now he served me with a summons saying that I'm an unfit parent, and he is seeking sole custody....
I am sick....

Oh, no!! We all know that you are certainly NOT an unfit parent. I'm sure the judge will see that too. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this mess.  I hope everything goes ok.

Well what valid claims does he have your unfit? if you told him you had PPD that is a claim you are unfit and he will use that against you...

I don't even know what is going on in your life right now, but I can put enough of it together from what you've shared...Pay no mind to whatever he's going to say. He's going to say the worst things in the world. You have to just let it roll off your back, hold your head up high and keep being that wonderful mommy that you are to Kristina.
You have your family, your friends and LIF here supporting you.

does he have anything on you? have you done anything with the baby?
my friend had PPD she put her baby in the closet and would let anyone in... her DH was able to use that in court he got sole custody..
btw he remarried her and had another baby.. they are still together.

I hope all goes well for you! If he tries to pull the PPD on you, and you are in fact being treated, a good attorney can certainly fight this for you...the reason of your PPD being...HIM!!!!!!

PPD is a temporary condition. As long as she's getting treatment for it, and since she's living with family it should be seen as a positive instead of a negative. It's not like a life long mental illness that won't go away...
