prayers needed please
My mom is in ICU. The cancer has spread to her liver, spine, and brain and her body is shutting down. My father signed a DNR on Friday and it's only a matter of time now. I have no words to explain how I feel. I am 28 weeks today, and I wanted my baby to know his/her grandma so bad. I am so angry that my mom won't be there when I go into labor, when I bring the baby home, when they have their birthday, when they go to school for the first time. Deep down, I know that I will survive, but thinking about the world without my mom makes me so sad. She is so young (55), and I am so young (25). I am so scared.

My DH's mom passed away from cancer about a year and a half ago and my FIL took care of her in the house with hospice so I was there and saw it all. It is so hard to watch someone that you love going through everything that cancer brings.
I will keep your family and mom in my prayers. Hang in there --

I lost my dad to cancer 1 1/2 years ago when I was 29. It's difficult to see someone you love suffer and even more difficult when you are so young.
Please don't think that your mom will not know your baby-she is going to be with you and your baby all the time...

I lost my dad to cancer (he was 58 I'm 28), in my 15th week of pg. I found some comfort in knowing my baby will have a guardian angel looking over him/her. FM if you ever want to talk.

I know how you feel I lost my Mom when I was 26 years old, and it makes me sad that she missed the her first grandson (my son), and so many other things...please find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.... Fm me if you want to talk...

On a personal note...my dad passed last November unexpected and we were devestated. Stay strong and keep your family close. I also have the feelings that my dad will never know my child BUT the reason I tested in February was bc my dad came to me in my dream acknowledging my baby that I didnt even know about. I dont think that relationship ever goes away. Strange thing...my baby is due the same week my dad passed...ironic huh! Again, stay strong and I wish the best for you and your family...I know how hard it can be. If you need anything FM me.
