Then your partner isn't doing something right, if it is better when you are inhibited by a depressant like pot.
sorry, but you've never tried it so you really can't have an opinion on the two together
Actual I can have an opinion. You just don't have to agree with it.

Re: Pot
I tried it in college, and honestly didn't like being stoned AT ALL.
When my parents first bought our house, my dad grew it in the backyard. My mom made him cut it down because she was afraid the neighbors would call the police.

but your opinion is null and void since you cannot compare, which is obvious because pot is not a depressant, for many people it provides uphoria.

I used to but haven't in a few years.
And to the person that said driving after smoking pot and drinking are different. They definitely are not. They are both very dangerous.

I did not say it was not dangerous but I think you feel ALOT different after drinking and have less control than after pot. I could be wrong as I have never driven after pot but I know the feeling and they are different in the way you can control yoursel.

but its ILLEGAL
It isn't illegal for her to smoke it. It is perscription and not used for "fun". Just like taking vicodin without a perscription is illegal.

that's not illegal, it;s just not "recommneded" . You shouldn't self prescribe but vicodin is a legal RX.

Based on her follow-up answer, I am going to take a guess and say she was being facetious.

i smoke.
i used to absolutely hate it. DH is a pothead and i hated it, but i like it now. i am a very stressed out person and it really relaxes me... and if i get teh right kind makes me giggle like a motherfu#$er.
i used to be surprised at how many ppl smoked pot, like everyone i came in contact with..... but now i realize its really not a big deal.
and plus i got this really cute bowl that looks like a lipstick, if thats not reason to smoke i dont know what is!
to all the ppl that were appauled nad were like "its illegal"... no offense, but boo friggen hoo. alot f things are illegal. big deal. worry about the drunk drivers instead.... pick on them. who minds if someone takes a toke in the privacy of their backyard?
Totally agreed. I would rather worry about driving around with drunks than someone doing it in the privacy of their home.
people get arrested for being under the influence of drugs while driving as well!!! peole dont smoke up and drive??
i dont care what people do (as long as its not rape/torture/murder, etc) in their own homes, its when they get behind the wheel under the influence of ANYTHING!
i don't think ppl should smoke and drive! thats a no no in my book.

Re: Pot
I have in the past, but never even bought it myself. When I lived in Spain I smoked hash for a bit, but that was long ago.
Although I do drink, I think alcohol is actually worse for you health-wise than marijuana is, even if it is legal.

Not proud to admit it but I driven after both and I found driving after pot a lot worse then after drinking. This when I was a lot younger of course.

Honestly, i think people would be suprised by just how many professional adults smoke regularly. I know many that do and once when I was younger, I was baby sitting for a very well off couple and found a packed bowl in their kitchen cabinet. I was like
I can tell you when I do find out that certain people use it, I'm not necessarily shocked, but I do I think less of them. I don't care what they do for a living or how well off they are.
