Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
We have the Britax Marathon, I liked that it went up to 35 lbs rear facing. The new marathon model will hold up to 40 lbs rear facing!

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
For dh car we have the evenflo symphony
for my car i have the britax advocate cs. Mine is a bit pricey and i love some of the features better on the britax such as the straps get looser from the top not the bottom silly thing i know but it annoys me to have the straps loosen from the bottom. I also like that ds seems a bit more reclined in the britax vs the evenflo
However i love the easy installation of the evenflo.

Graco 65... love it. As soon as I put DS in it...he's out! IN the infant carrier he always wanted to play first LOL. ETA: it's rear facing up to 40lbs, and foward facing up to 65lbs I am pretty sure.

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
I recommend the Graco MyRide65. It's big, roomy, comfy, reclines enough so her head never falls forward and it's inexpensive compared to other seats with this weight limit (40 lbs rear facing, 65 lbs forward facing).
DH has the Britax roundabout in his car and that one is great too (fits great in his small car), but it was more expensive and only goes up to 40 lbs.

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
For my first son I have the Britax Marathon. That goes up to 65lbs.
For my second son I got the Britax Roundabout 50 (goes up to 50lbs). This is less expensive then the Marathon and my thinking was that when DS#1 grows out of the Marathon my DS#2 can go in it.
Both are very highly rated and I like them both,
There is a great website that you can order carseats from. They have 20% off - no shipping - and no tax. I got the seat the very next day!

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
I have the britax marath0n 70 (the new version). I love it!!! We also have the older marathon for DH truck. The newer one is a lot smaller so it fits in my car great (i have a chevy malibu). The older marathon wouldn't fit in my car unless the front seat was all the way up and then noone could sit there!!

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
I have the Evenflo Symphony 65. It's rear-facing up to 40lbs and forward-facing up to 65lbs. It's also a booster seat up to 100lbs. So it's the last seat I have to buy!
my ILs just bought the Evenflo Momentum65 car seat. i think they're basically the same.
also the best feature they have (which is basically why i got it)...no re-threading the seatbelt!!! what a b!tch to have to take off the cover and rethread. this way, you just raise or lower. so simple!

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
Evenflo Symphony was my second choice but we went with First Years Tru Fit. They are both very similar but Tru Fit has a nicer feel to it with DD in it

Re: Post your Convertable Carseat....
We have a Britax Roundabout 50 and a Roundabout 55 for DS (I bought them at different times).
They both are rear facing to 40 lbs and then forward facing to 50 or 55.
They are the cheapest of the Britax seats. Diapers.com has a 20% off coupon and I redeemed by Pampers pts and got a great deal on one.
