I think a pregnant woman is one of the most beautiful things!!!! I will absolutely be sporting a bikini this summer!!! I can not wait!!! And you should too!!! Show off that bump and be proud!!!!
I do have to say though I am not American and in my culture we celebrate our bodies!!!! Sooooo I may not be the norm!!!

I'm torn on this.
On the one hand I could NEVER picture myself in a tankini or a one piece etc.
I'd rather not wear a bathing suit at all.
On the other- I'm very self conscious about ANY kind of belly and not sure I'd feel comfy in a bikini.
Even when I wasn't pregnant- if I was PMSing or my belly looked bloated I would be self consious in my bikinis.
I'm barely showing so people would think I just ate too much and had some stomach pudge and that would make me feel self conscious.
I'm probably just being silly though- I have a lot of hang ups.
Bottom line- if you are comfortable in it and feel great about it- Go for it!

This is how I feel. I have to say, I am pretty surprised by the results! I think there is nothing more beautiful or natural than a woman carrying another life!! Like you said it should be celebrated.
It is really amazing how the American culture is so different from other countries in regards to our bodies!
And to the pp about getting sunburned, thank you! I am definitely gonna make sure I use a ton of sunscreen and I am pale now anyway so I really need it :)

I think if you have it you should flaunt it. I couldn't do it because I wouldn't be comfortable but I think pregnancy is absolutely beautiful and I see nothing wrong with showing some belly at the pool or beach!
ITA. I probably won't but I see no problem with anyone else who wants to.

Half of my family is from Central America and one of my cousins posted a facebook photo of her 7 months pregnant in a bikini. I swear you would think she committed a crime. Everyone was shocked and grossed out by it to the point they called over here to gossip about her  . I couldn't believe it! Personally I wouldn't do it because I would look horrendous and would be super self conscious but could care less if someone else does it.

Different culture definitely do things differently. But I have to say that in my Italian family, even tight clothing on pregnant women is not really seen as appropriate. My cousins all wore the more flowy type outfits and I noticed that is what my mother has been buying me as well. Those tight maternity t shirts would never fly there, and definitely not a bikini.
Disclaimer: I can only speak for my family, I have no idea what the rest of the boot does.

I've never worn a bikini pre-preggo, so if I did look great in a bikini while pregnant, I would totally do it!
Unfortunately, I fear that if I even tried a bikini with how I look, you would have trouble finding the bikini on my body  .
