Poll: Preggo in a bikini, yay or nay?
I am going away next week, I bought a couple of maternity tankinis to wear but I also have a bikini top that shockingly still fits 
I really want to get a tan, on my tummy too. (don't worry, I will wear sunscreen and be safe  I am just SOO pale!!)
What is your opinion on a pregnant lady in a bikini??
ETA: took down pic, just for anyone not her, obviously she is a model, lol.

if i look like the girl in the pic that you posted then I say RIGHT ON!
If I look like a whale by that time (and I will if I continue to food shop the way I did today ) then I say a bathing suit will not even be an option!

In florida n I bought a tankini and I'm tan and the belly is stark white! Its funny to see but I couldn't even think about pulling it up to tan it and I'm surrounded by an over 50 community at pool! Lol

I wore one when I was preggo with DD. I was barely showing though. I'm all for it but I was a little self conscious... although some people said they didn't realize I was pregnant.

I have just been shocked by some friends opinions and am curious what the general public thinks of a preggo in a bikini?

I chose not to wear a bikini.
I think pregnancy is beautiful.....but then it gets to a point where it just isn't (ie the line).
If you are comfortable then go for it!

Honestly...I love my pregnant belly and I am not ashamed of it one bit! BUT...DH and I will be going on a quick babymoon when I am 32 weeks and I cannot imagine wearing a bikini at that point. I think other people will be turned off. So I will be buying a tankini. I saw some cute ones in target I just have to try them on.

I loved my pregnant belly, but when we went on a cruise when I was 20 weeks pg, I wore a tankini 2 piece and covered my belly.

I did wear one on my cruise but had a cover up whenever I was standing or walking. I did take it off to get a little sun or when I went swiming. I looked "good" but I felt uncomfortable with people staring. Everyone STARED.

i would say it depends on how far along the person is
for me personally...i gained all belly so id prolly wear one if i felt comfortable in it (although not now at 36w)...but id prolly read up on exposing my belly in the sun (im guessing its ok w/sunscreen).

if you are comfortable. I would not be comfortable with my body right now and its not my belly that bothers me. Its my thighs. I don't think I would put on any type of bathing suit right now

I would never do it. Even though I am all belly at the moment, I would NOT feel comfortable. I am actually going to buy a one piece for the summer, since the only time I will be in it will be with DH's whole family in their pool so I am not even going to try the cute tankinis LOL

Sorry to crash, but just be careful in the sun. I'm a very good tanner and when we went to Aruba when I was 25 weeks prego I burned! I never burn, but a friend warned me to wear a lot of sunscreen b/c pregnany skin is different.
Stay cool and drink lots of water! BTW... I wore a tankini that didn't fully cover my belly. It was cute and I had just a little belly. There was another prego woman on the beach and wore a bikini. I remember she was European and looked great in a bikini. I just didn't think to bring any and was with my in-laws at the time.

If I was comfortable in my body than yes I would wear one. I'm not comfortable so I don't think my stomach will be seeing the sun this summer.
2 of my girlfirends rocked bikinis for both of their pregnancies & looked great.

I think if you have it you should flaunt it. I couldn't do it because I wouldn't be comfortable but I think pregnancy is absolutely beautiful and I see nothing wrong with showing some belly at the pool or beach!
