Please Remind Me About Tylenol And Shots
DD is going today for her 3rd round of shots (her 6 MOS appt). I can't seem to recall (old age  ) if I have to give her Tylenol before leaving for the appointment. I know its always every 4 hours for 24 hrs after but I think I had given it to her before too when she had her 2 and 4 mos shots.

Tylenol won't do anything for the pain of the shot itself, its purpose it to help alleviate any side effects of the shot (i.e. fever, etc). So, I generally wait until I get home and if she has any of these side effects, I give it to her then.
Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. I don't like to give it to her unless she needs it.

Per my pediatrician's advice, I only give tylenol if he seems warm and/or irritable after the shots.
