2 month visit with shots, do I need to get tylenol?
did you give it prior or did you wait and see if she acts like she is in pain after?

I had the nurse give the tylenol right before the shot.

My ped told us to give it to him right after in the office. I would bring it with you and ask the ped there for the amount of the dose and if he/she thinks your DD needs it. DS just got his 4 month shots yesterday and we gave it to him at the office. It definitely helps

It was not easy for me yesterday. DH laughs at me but I do sometimes think it is harder for us then the baby. My son screamed while getting his shots and then as soon as I picked him up and cuddled him he was fine. He never had any adverse reaction at 2 or 4 months (fever or not sleeping well). I am sure you will be fine

give it to her 1/2 hour before her shots...she will be fine, babies are tougher than we give them credit for

I would give right before shot. the 2 month shot caused a slight fever for us.

I havent given my dd any tylenol for any of her shots. The first few months, she would pass out early and sleep through the night. Now at 8m she just wants to play, i guess she has a high tolerance for pain

I gave it to him just before bedtime. DS didnt have any reaction to his first shots but I wanted him to be comfy to sleep. It can't hurt to have it in the house so you have it if you need it!
Dont worry, DS cried for like 2 minutes then was all smiles in the peds office talking. For his 4 month shots I brought a small bottle warmed already and gave that to him after he had his shots and again it was no big deal, he got over it very quickly.

I bought it right after we left the ped's office but if I recall correctly, I didn't give it to her. She slept a lot but otherwise was fine. No fever or anything.

Same here as well. I called the ped the day before the appointment and he said not to give it to him until after if he needs it - he didn't.

At her 2 month shots, I didn't give it to DD until we got home - by which time she was VERY uncomfortable and needed it...so at 4 months, I brought it with me and gave it right after...no problems...
