Please recommend a good lotion for eczema
Not aquaphore. that works but now they have it like all over so I need a lotion I can rub in. It could be dry skin but I need something. I might switch to the CA baby soap too for them.

This. My ped highly recommended it and it works great on my boys eczema. We also switched to California baby wash and a free and clear detergent. Aveeno made their eczema worse.

CereVe. Make sure you get CREAM not lotion.
The cream has less water and is more effective.

this.. DD's eczema is under control only becase of this cream. I lather her up couple of times a day and it has helped her. DD doesn't have bad eczema but DH does so I took her to a pediatric dermatologist to make sure Im on point with her skin care. And doc gave big kudos to me.. with the heater, and long bath times, DDs skin is soft and supple.

Re: Please recommend a good lotion for eczema
Agree with the CereVe, it really helped DS's skin all over
however he had patches on his face that could only be cured by prescription lotion that the dermatologist gave us (after going through several different lotions from our ped)

What do you do with the heater? And long baths are good?
They are 3 mo so they aren't submerged and get cold do I go quick.

Re: Please recommend a good lotion for eczema
We use cetaphil in the big tub. Aso like other posters mentioned, all free and clear detergent, no dryer sheets, cotton clothing, little baking soda in bath, etc.

Yeah, my DC both have HORRID eczema and normally the dry air from the heater and long bath are a big no no for eczema.
