what goes in the diaper bag??? I know diapers obviously but what else ...

Bottles, wipes, pacifiers/pacifier case, extra outfit, some plastic bags (to dispose of dirty diapers and to hold any outfits that um, need urgent washing). Eventually snacks, toys.

That is all I can think of (I have three very very young siblings that I would take out and that was what I had in the diaper bag)

Not a silly question at all....

I put everything in my diaper bag - it became my pocketbook so I got a really nice Kate Spade tote bag which was just a regular bag, not a diaper bag.

I put diapers, wipes, change of clothes, burp cloths, bibs, bottles, food, and my personal items.
