I think i need a sex ed class .. dont laugh
Ok so i read all the post about CM and CP and temping and charting. Am i the only one who doesnt know how to distinguish the results. I mean come on im a nurse and i can point the abnormal but i feel like an idiot. I thought i could catch on reading post after post but i cant. I wanted to start mapping things out cuz DH and i are going to try again after we get our 2 cycles after mc. (who am i kidding may 1 not 2) i was thinking of buying the monitor where you pee on sticks.. is this a good investment?

I'm just as lost as you are with all the charting. A lot of the girls buy the OPKs. I'm going to get one if AF shows up in the next few days.

IF I get AF tomorrow, one of my sisters advised me to get one because my CD isn't regular.
And don't feel bad I can't understand the charts also

I don't use charts. I check my CM & CP, and faithfully use OPKs. If we don't get pg this round, I'm investing in the CBEFM.
But praying that we will

I also plan on waiting till I get one cycle back. I don't think I can wait till two either. Last time I was PG I was using OV sticks. They work really well! Those charts seem like so much work. I was also using www.mymonthlycycles.com to help chart my fertile days.

I chart temps and use OPKs. CP is too subjective for me, I can't tell what's going on, and if I happen to notice CM, I'll make note of it, but I don't get enough to chart differences.

me too-- It confuses me and it seems like a lot of info to process. Also the cervical position-- not a freakin clue how you determine that.
Right now, I am just going by CM-- when it looks like EWCM and attempting to use OPKs and now I just got a saliva ovulation predictor kit which is cheaper than CBEFM. Then, sex every other day from CD 10 or so on...
I think charting and what not is a little too much for me. At this point, I need to just learn what's happening with my cycles-- if I knew when I was ovulating, I probably wouldn't bother with the tests.
You just need to find the tools that work best for you and your lifestyle-- and do what feels comfortable without letting TTC take over your life. Good luck!

Ask your Dr. Too, they will help you, maybe get a blood test and see what's going on ..... Figure out how many days are between your period, then maybe use ovulation strips its the easiest
