Planners
Does anyone besides me still have a planner. I am looking for a small one to keep in my bag. I had a filofax, but after 8 years (I got in 2000), its time to move on.
Anyone have one they recommend? I am looking for something small with a week on 2 pages. Thanks!
ETA: I am looking for something that is refillable.

Re: Planners
I have one from Coach. It's small and fits in just about all my bags. It's pretty much no bigger than my wallet.

Re: Planners
I bought a 5x7 Mead that's a little thinner than the old red Barnes & Noble ones I always got at the college bookstore. At Walmart - it was like $4.
It's just for 2008 though, not sure if you were looking for something to refill when necessary.
In any case, this one has a page for the monthly calendar then the week across two pages. I haven't really migrated to it yet ... I still have my Franklin Planner from when I started with the company in 1994!!!

Re: Planners
For the past couple of years, I have bought the small pretty ones from Paperblanks.

I know Borders sells them.

Re: Planners
I just bought a filofax from dailyplanner.com, but they have many other choices. Kate Spade makes a cute, very small one.

I saw the kate spade one, and was interested in it. Is it durable? I know its made of canvas.

Re: Planners
it is so strong, i was so hard on it, i got it in 2000 and it still looks new, the only thing that broke was the little ruller that marks what page your up to but you can buy a new one, its just a thin piece of plastic, but it lasted 7 years beofore that broke. IMO it was soooo worth the money

Re: Planners
I have a Quo Vadis (sold online and at Barnes & Nobels) - honestly, I had a filofax for so many years, but wanted something smaller/compact and simple b/c I wasn't using a lot of the sections.
I found this at B&N and I'm addicted to it. It's the Academic Weekly - Scholor 17 2007/2008 - Size 6 1/4" x 9 1/2" - 17 months (August 2007 - December 2008) - each week is divided among two pages, and there's a summary of the year in the first section.

Slight jack, but I am SO not ready to get a Blackberry. I've had people recommend it for my job but I don't want to be that accessible just out of principle!
Plus I'm always crossing out and changing stuff, it just works better for me to go the "old-fashioned" planner route.

I have the old school July to June one from Staples. I then made a cover for it and it's a bit more stylish! I also have a palm pilot but I love my paper one so much!

ditto! I have the Staples planner, Sept. to Aug. Love it and have had the same one, different colors, for 11 years now..I save them too and look back like a journal.

Re: Planners
I have a small zip around one, Day Planner I think. I buy the refills every year. I could never live without a paper planner! Even if I had to get a blackberry for work, I would still maintain a personal paper planner.
