OPK & PCOS Help!
Has anyone gotten any kind of confirmation from their doctor as to whether or not to use them?
I'm going in Feb to talk to my OBGYN and asking them if I should use these or not to test, but months ago, I bought my first pack and on the label that comes inside, it says results may not be accurate if you have PCOS.
HOWEVER, my friend who is already seeing an infertility specialist was told to test even with the injectibles they are giving her and she also has PCOS.
Any comments, suggestions?

I have PCOS and they work for me...some women with PCOS have elevated levels of LH and OPK's measure the level of LH so it would not work for them...I would ask your doctor to see if you can use them based on your hormonal levels

all of my hormones came back normal. So I'll guess Ill give them another try.

anytime i used one and got a positive the bloodwork proved i was not ovulating
but i have high LH,so maybe if hormone levels r normal u can use them

I've been using them for over a year and the only way to tell when I was ovulating was by blood (which I had once a month before I had my CP in november)
