Re: Opinions please

I'm so intrigued by The Pit! What street is it near or on? Does the "pit" refer to the bottom of the steep part?

we were ok with the house when we thought it had a side yard.....but now that's gone, so it has no yard at all. i can't imagine raising kids in suffolk county with no yard.

The right thing is out there for you...with a yard and all. It'll come...it's just not the right time yet.Chat Icon

It's really better off anyway.
We weren't even looking to buy right now anyway - just looking for fun really. I never wanted to close on our co-op sale at the same time we were buying a house....but this house seemed perfect......
So we're back where we were, and that's not a bad thing really.

Re: Opinions please

We have our house built into the side of a hill (I posted some yard pics in another post on Home if you want to see) and I would not have bought the house if it did not have some yard to it. Our house has a deck off the back of the house and a decent yard (not huige by any means), so we bought. Had there been no yard, like some house further up the street, then no. With children in our future when we bought, that was a big consideration.

Your house will come along with the yard. Being from East Northport I can keep an "eye" open for you, if you'd like. I dont think I wouldve jumped on a "no yard" situation, but, thats just my opinion. Im sure the house is great, all the houses around the area are beautiful!Chat Icon
