NYE plans?
So what is everyone doing for NYE this year? I have my son this year so mine will be spent at home, but I wanted to live vicariously through everyone else... Lol. I was considering a small gathering of friends...

I never go out to a bar or restaurant for NYE...to me, it's an amateur drinking night and I'm intolerant of people who don't know their limits.
I usually either stay home with my husband or go to a friend's house. Sometimes we'll have a few people over.
Good people, good food, good booze, good movies and/or tunes...that's all I need to be happy.

What we do every year..............put the kids to bed then hang out together in the den watching movies, watching the NYE's festivities, and eating junk food!! lol Honestly, we love it!! It's relaxing and cozy, we've never been big NYE's plans people anyway.

NYE plans?
Since having my son we don't do much. I get so tired after all the Christmas hustle and DS birthday is the 28th so by NYE I am shot!!!! We usually go eat Chinese food and then hang out at home and I am 99% of the time asleep way before midnight!

We don't like to drive anywhere on NYE.
We stay at home, cook a special dinner, watch movies and then watch the ball drop from the comfort of our bed.
If our close friends have no plans to go out, they will join us and sleep over.

We aren't really big NYE people -
I don't care what we do as long as I don't have to make the plans.
Usually at home or at a friends house - sometimes an early dinner w/ the kids ....depends. Nothing where we have to 'go somewhere' .........

We stay home that night with the kids. Dinner is always a nice steak and lobster tails. It's the one night a year I don't feel comfortable driving with them in the car.

NYE plans?
Staying home....probably order food and that's about it. We are all asleep way before midnight! I usually DVR Rocking Eve (or whatever it's called) and then watch it all the next day...the ball drops in my house around 11 am on New Years Day. LOL

Dh is working and will not be home till after midnight. So if I am awake I will watch the ball drop on tv and then have dinner with dh after he gets home. Last year he made it home by 11:45 pm.

We stay home. Before DD, we used to have friends/family over. Now, DD can't last past 8pm so I usually make a nice dinner for all of us. Then DH and I just hang out, drink and eat snacks till midnight.

Ugh, I feel you! Had a NYE wedding to go to about 4 years ago, so annoying. Maybe if it was people I was close with it would've been fun, but it was one of those "obligation" weddings and we knew almost no one. We left before it was over because I really didn't want tp be on the road after midnight with all the drunks!

We have friends over. They stay the weekend. Drinking, food, fun, games. Kids, dogs and whatever else ensues.
It's the best.
