Ugh, I feel you! Had a NYE wedding to go to about 4 years ago, so annoying. Maybe if it was people I was close with it would've been fun, but it was one of those "obligation" weddings and we knew almost no one. We left before it was over because I really didn't want tp be on the road after midnight with all the drunks!
I HATE holidays weddings period.

What we do every year..............put the kids to bed then hang out together in the den watching movies, watching the NYE's festivities, and eating junk food!! lol Honestly, we love it!! It's relaxing and cozy, we've never been big NYE's plans people anyway. 
This is what we do since we have kids and I Love it! We order in some really good food, get a good bottle of wine and watch a movie together. We watch the ball drop and just relax. Some years we've taken down our tree which is nice too so we don't have to do it later on.

my cousin is hosting a party. he even hired a DJ.
we'll be going there. i'm hoping to get SO to dance at least ONE song with me... ggrrr.
SO doesn't drink and i'm a light-weight, so we'll easily be designated drivers for at least a couple of relatives.

Two of my friends also have young kids (4 and under). So we're going to get together with apps and hang out and let the kids play.

We got invited to DH's coworkers wedding on NYE. We aren't going. He's not a close friend and we won't have a babysitter.

NYE plans?
Every year we go to DH's cousin's vacation house upstate along with about 5 other families. I HATE it but put up with it for DH who loves it. Last year we couldn't go because I had just started a new job and couldn't take off so we had a group of friends over - it was so much better than going upstate. I think this is the last year I'll deal with it (I know DH really needs it this year - his best friend just passed away and he needs something to look forward to). Next year I'm planning on saying it's time to do something else

My daughter who is 8 has a little party with her friends, usually from 5 to 7. She's been doing it for a few years. Then we make a nice dinner and watch movies. We are always content to stay home, I don't like being on the road.

NYE plans?
DH and I have done the Emerald Nuts Midnight Run in Central Park for the last few years and love it! We usually have people over beforehand. This year I'll be 26 weeks pregnant for NYE

Not sure yet.We may go out for an early dinner or I may make a nice dinner. We will probably be home for midnight because they set off fireworks (very unsafely as well) here and it scares me.

NYE plans?
Staying at a famiy resort in Ocean City, MD with another couple and kids from Thursday to Sunday.
They have a nice indoor kids pool, there's a christmas light show run by a tram and fireworks...etc.
The price I got for a package that included champagne and gift cards cannot be beat lol!
