Why does coffee/tea any hot beverage for that matter taste so much better when D & D or Starbucks makes it? I'm trying to save some pennies with making my own hot beverages, but they do something special to them! Damn them!

ITA , and we get the ground coffee from D n D for home ! Not a fan of starbucks coffee though .

I love Starbucks' caramel apple spice...just can't seem to find the right combo at home!

if you mean lattes and all that, I agree. although DD lattes are crazy sweet to me and for some reason I don't trust them. i don't like Starbucks' coffee; it tastes bitter to me.
i've been making coffee at home for the past 2 weeks and have saved sooo much money... I'll add sometimes fat free french vanilla creamer to make it more of a treat.
