But it's not natural. There's professional makeup, lighting, and Photoshop done to the photo. How can any regular woman expect to be considered "beautiful" when People's 2014 "Most Beautiful Woman" isn't beautiful enough on her own for L'Oreal? Especially if people think that her photo is "Natural". It's an unobtainable standard.

How are you getting that from this pic? I'm pretty sure any woman would love how they looked professionally photographed w/ makeup, hair, lighting and photoshop .......
Again, she's beautiful, I agree - but ....what's so different about her looking beautiful here than any other celebrity?

I think she is beautiful, great bone structure...I just don't like short hair on any woman. I was watching DWTS and thinking WHY did julianne hough cut her hair, I LOVE long hair on a woman. I still think she's beautiful though.

Yes, most if not all celebs pics are touched up, best lights etc. For this shot,
Lupita Nyong'o (and/or her stylist team) went with natural hair, simple silk (?)
off shoulder blouse. All said, it is a pretty picture. JMHO

I have to agree.
I'd love myself too if someone went over me with an airbrush in photoshop
Agree it's so done up that she looks like plastic or a maniquinn.

I think she means no fillers, botox, fake eyelashes, plastic surgery, hair extensions, etc.
