Newbie Question About Foods and other things
Are there foods or drinks you should stay away from or take when TTC? Is there something that DH should or should not be doing as well at this time? We are going to start soon to TTC and I wanted to start doing some thing first to help things along.
TIA!

Thank you for the reply.
Does DH have to stop drinking caffeine or did you just mean alcohol? Should DH be taking vitamins as well?

I would suggest staying away from eating a lot of soy products. I've read that they can increase estrogen and that can interfere with your hormones.

Re: Newbie Question About Foods and other things
I agree w/ the above & add:
Cut back on fish that is high in mercury. There are safety guidelines on how much, and what kinds are ok to eat.
I would add a omega vit along with the normal daily prenatal. Target has a combo prenatal, dha (omega) pack they are the rainbow light ones.
I have banned my DH from using his heated seat (last winter we fought about this all the time). Also tell him to avoid hot tubs, very hot baths, and excessive bike riding. Those little guys need all the help they can get. Oh, and my DH takes a multi vit, and omega also.
