Hi girls! I am new here, and just starting to TTC. I have a question that I'm sure sounds dumb....but I'm gonna ask anyway. I was trying to use one of the ovulation calendars, and it pretty much told me my most fertile time would be right after my period ends. Is that usually true?

Ok, thanks ladies. I haven't been tracking my cycle, so I guess I really don't have any idea when I would be most fertile. Maybe I will buy some Ovulation kits.

This is all very confusing stuff. The lingo is hard to get a handle on sometimes, so I just want to make sure you understand what was being asked. 
Thanks, because I didn't understand, it is all very confusing. I am trying to remember back to health class, and wished I paid attention...I think my cycle is about every 28 days.

If your cycle is 28 days, you in theory should ovulate around CD14. The only way to know is to continue tracking your cycle.

welcome and good luck! hope your stay here is short and sweet 
if you know at least the dates of when you got your last few periods, you can enter them into mymonthlycycle.com and it can tell you APPROXIMATELY when you'll ovulate. I emphasize approximately because it can definitely be off by a bit if your cycles are irregular
